James Turrell

Turrell has created an extensive body of work that includes sculptures , drawings , photographs , holograms , installations ,and architecture . In all of his works, appearances  can be deceiving: solid shapes  seem made of light, walls appear insubstantial ,and architectural space  has infinite depth . Yet , what you see is not an illusion ,it is real ,and that moment of perceptual awakening is crucial to the experience of  James Turrell`s art
